PINOCCHIO opens today at the El Capitan in Hollywood, CA. The newly restored digital version is incredibly beautiful with a miraculously awakened soundtrack. If you are anywhere near Southern California, you'll want to plan to see this rare big-screen presentation, complete with Mighty Wurlitzer pre-show and an onstage appearance by PINOCCHIO himself.

PINOCCHIO was Walt Disney's second animated feature. The beautiful background art speaks eloquently for itself. All four backgrounds have never been seen like this, lovingly re-created to showcase the European "old world" look created by Disney artist Gustaf Tenggren.

It has been said PINOCCHIO was Walt Disney's best film, artistically and technically. Anyone who loves animation would be hard pressed to disagree.
