HOME ON THE RANGE (Disney, 2004)

Lest anyone thinks I only appreciate vintage Disney, here's B/G art from HOME ON THE RANGE. I love seeing "old west" used as an animation motif... and these are done beautifully.

If Michael Eisner had his way, this would have been Disney's last traditional animated film. Fortunately, Disney animation is coming back... can't wait to see THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG in November.

BTW... ever wonder how Roseanne Barr was pitched the idea of being cast as a cow? I guess she really must have a great sense of humor!

Hey Rob,I just thought why not check if there is anything new here although you said that you were going to take a break and -yipiieeeh- 4 new posts!!! You're back, that's really great! These pictures are a constant source of inspiration as well a a huge learning resource. All the work you put in to put them together is highly appreciated! Thanks :)

I liked HOTR.

I think on the DVD they mention that part of their vision was to be not-3D and go for classic "flat" as much as possible.
