Ben Franklin's lab. I believe the wooden object that looks like an electric chair is actually Ben's printing press.

This pan B/G begins with a fade-in and a pan. I included the entire left side of the artwork. I matched it as best I could without spending hours repainting the entire thing! Lovely, colonial Philadelphia!

Charming short, almost a mini-feature. Visual style is very much in the mode of my early '50s visual favorites ALICE IN WONDERLAND and PETER PAN. And the mice are of course straight out of CINDERELLA. I think, thanks to Mary Blair, Ken Anderson, and other artists, this period produced one of the richest Disney stylistic looks.
