Donald In Mathmagic Land

These very modern B/Gs were created for "Donald In Mathmagic Land."

The eye-popping colors and imaginative designs make these especially attractive, don't you think?

  1. Excellent! Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land has the most wondrous Alice-like feel to it. Thanks for the great backgrounds!

  2. What magnificent backgrounds, I've never seen them, very interesting too :)

They remind me a bit of the forest backgrounds in Sleeping Beauty where the trees also also a bit square-shaped..

  4. A very low res version is on YouTube. It's nearly unwatchable.

On July 30, 2007, the region 1 DVD of "Donald in Mathmagic Land" was released as an exclusive to the Disney Movie Club. Disney has not announced any plans for a region 1 wide release of the DVD.

You can find copies available on eBay.

An expanded educational version also appears to be available to teachers for $59.95.

Definitely worth having in your animation library!

  5. I have it on VHS. Bought in the Disney store back in late 90s.
One of those astounding examples of education that were produced back in the day. No clearer explanation of the Golden Section.
